Name: Cheshire Black
Label: "Craft beers - Rich roasted stout"
Brewery: Robinsons
ABV: 4.1%
Rating: "This ebony coloured stout was first inspired by an original recipe dating back to 1892 and brought back to life by popular demand. It was originally used for the hourly paid beer allowance most of which had usually been consumed before mid-day! On many occasions the singing coming from the brewery could be heard from miles around. Enjoy the spirit of innovation that comes with Robinsons Craft Beers." Can you imagine being paid an hourly beer allowance? I'd never leave work.
Game: So Inside Xbox has been ditched by Microsoft. Seems a shame as Dan Maher and Andy Farrant did make some really good content accessible from the Xbox dashboard. Pretty much the only thing I watch on Xbox Live was their shows, but the great thing about Inside Xbox was that they genuinely engaged with the community. It may have been a veneer but it definitely gave the impression that Microsoft weren't some faceless capitalist monstrosity out to relieve us of as much money as possible. The lads seemed genuinely enthusiastic and enjoyed being part of the great Xbox community and interacting with us lowly punters (customers). Now it seems they're to be replaced by a "third-party content model". So that's yet more adverts then, right? I'm all for change and freshening things up but this just seems like a cynical ploy to cut costs with a view to further monetising Xbox Live.

Gutted to learn about the demise of the Maher-Farrant partnership. I wasn't always a fan when I first got my Xbox, but over the years I've grown to love those two madcaps.
I knew this was coming, but doesn't soften the blow. I suspect I'll be watching a lot less Inside Xbox in the future.
On a seperate note, have you finnished Witcher now? What ending did you get? Second thoughts, DM me on twitter so avoid spoilers for your good readers :)

Rumour has it we may be getting IGN content as a replacement :(
I've left messages all over and hopefully I'm not too late, check the running time for "warriors of the Rainbow" the uk versions I've seen aren't the full 4+ hours :(
Thanks for the retweets good fellows!
Like you James I wasn't totally enamoured by the format to begin with but it became familiar over time in a good way and I enjoyed following their hi-jinx and tomfoolery through the various shows :)
Not sure about IGN though. Might be awesome..? No doubt all will be revealed...
Thanks for the "Warriors" heads-up mr. Elderly!
Phew! Now I can sleep! :)
Re the ongoing
....we can't find a full version of "warriors of the Rainbow" should we consider moving to America saga...
Playasia have part 1 but not part 2 and Yes Asia have full blue ray version but only Hong Kong region disc...
:(
What are these movie / blu ray makers playing at?? Different parts, different lengths, different formats?? And they wonder why piracy is rife!
Tip for the film industry people: make film, put film on disc, sell disc. It really is that simple. Poor mr. Elderly has had to visit about a billion websites by the sounds of it to track down a suitable version!!
Here, here! and thank you!
(applause)
I'm gonna get Alf! To make us some placards, this was way down my list of what to buy next, now it's right up top..
...tis never a clever marketing ploy!!?
