Marmalade IPA (Innis and Gunn)

Name: Marmalade IPA

Game: It's a bumper Eaglemoss delivery this month! Here's part 3 of 3. This is probably one of Eaglemoss's best statues so far from the Alien and Predator Figurine Collection - Alien Facehugger & Egg (Aliens). It's a weighty piece standing 22cm tall showing the facehugger jumping from a recently opened egg. Great details on the facehugger and the egg, especially on the inside. Creepy!

Monty Pythons Brian (Black Sheep)

Name: Monty Python's Brian

Tasting notes: "A beautifully balanced and superbly moreish amber gold beer. Fruity and malty with a subtle hoppy bite. Fuggles and WGV hops banter with Maris Otter malted barley to give a wonderful lingering finale. It's not the messiah, it's a very naughty pale ale!"

Game: It's a bumper Eaglemoss delivery this month! Here's part 2 of 3. Dennis Parker Figurine (Alien 1979).  The likeness is actually pretty good, sometimes due to the size of the figurine (1/16 scale) human characters don't tend to translate all that well. This one however is pretty good and there's a great level of detail on the clothing.

Pickled Partridge (Badger)

Name: Pickled Partridge

Tasting notes: "Suspecting his fate as the centrepiece of the Sunday roast, our cunning partridge escaped his captor with a snappy peck. This plump tipple balances roasted malt with fruity citrus hops."  The beer looks to be a slightly stronger remake of this 2009 classic!

Game: It's a bumper Eaglemoss delivery this month! Here's part 1 of 3. Issue 20 Masked Predator Figurine (Predator 1987). There's some good detail on this figurine but the paintwork seems a bit rushed on the netting and the dreads. Overall though, it looks cool, especially the skull and spine trophy.

Golden Crown (Harpers)

Game: Third Eaglemoss Alien and Predator Collection item is the Special Edition 2: Alien Newborn Figurine.  I thought this was really unpleasant in the film. The figurine is equally as unpleasant which makes it great!

Medusa (Harpers)

Game: Eaglemoss Alien and Predator Collection Issue 18 - and this one is doozy! This is 'Grid' from AvP. The grid pattern is when the Predator fires the net over the xeno and it cuts into its head.  Quality stuff, great figurine.

Golden Sheep Ale (Black Sheep)

Name: Golden Sheep Ale

Game: Today we have an Eaglemoss Alien and Predator Collection delivery. This is Issue 19: Bishop. The figurine shows Bishop just before he gets in the tunnel to go and fix the satellite to call the spare ship down to the planet. The resemblance in the face is not quite there to be honest. They should have maybe done one with him speared by the Alien Queen's tail or cut in half.

Welsh Pale (Glamorgan)

Tasting notes: "A well-rounded pale ale with intense citrus, tropical and lime flavours. Hints of pine oil finished with a clean, hoppy bitterness."

Game: Another epic sized figurine in the Eaglemoss Alien and Predator Collection. Here is the Bonus Edition 1: Space Jockey Figurine.  It's a fantastic edition to the collection at 22cm tall, over 20cm in diameter and a whopping 2kg in weight. Brilliantly painted and excellently detailed.

Pirates Gold (Wooden Hand)

Tasting notes: "Easy drinking pale coloured ale, a tempting hop aroma with light fruit notes. Strong malt and hop flavours with a dry tangy fruit finish."

Game: Limited edition time from Eaglemoss - The U.S.C.S.S. Nostromo. This is numbered 1461 of 3000. Looks great, if a little pricey for the size but we don't mind paying a bit extra for limited runs! That's forty-two million in adjusted dollars sat in my display cabinet. That’s minus payload, of course.

Wold Gold (Wold Top)

Name: Wold Gold

Tasting notes: "Wold Gold a blonde continental style beer, a heady mix of predominantly Wold grown Barley, Wheat and Cara malt hopped with Goldings and Styrian Goldings hops give the beer its soft, fruity flavour with a hint of spice. Year on year our best selling bottled beer."

Game: Another quick one, Issue 17 of the Alien and Predator Figurine Collection, Ronald Noland Figurine from Predators.  Sadly on one side of the box it refers to him as "Roland Noland" as opposed to Ronald Noland. But other than that, this figurine is excellent quality complete with salvaged Predator gear.
