Name: Sunny Dayz
Label: "A well balanced hoppy and mandarin citrus taste with strong floral notes"
Brewery: Hogs Back Brewery
ABV: 3.8%
Tasting notes: "A drier, pale golden ale with Cascade Centennial and local Surrey hops, using Pale Ale and Munich malt. Hoppy with strong citrus and floral notes on the nose. Light in body, with well-balanced hoppy and predominantly mandarin citrus flavours."
Game: Today we're playing a blast from the past, Predator Concrete Jungle. Never played this first time round and we missed out! It's great although the graphics and controls haven't aged particularly well. The game is suitably violent and sweary though so that's good enough for us!
Rating: 7 spines out of 10
Game and ale reviews all in one handy place, helping you to game and drink excessively. Bite size reviews for those in a hurry or people like me who can't be arsed reading more than a couple of paragraphs in one sitting.

All 4 One (Hogs Back)
Name: All 4 One
Label: "4 hop lager - a soft and light malt zingy taste with the aroma of Germanic hops and citrus with a touch of honey"
Brewery: Hogs Back Brewery
ABV: 4.5%
Tasting notes: "Straw coloured lager with an aroma of grassy Germanic hops and citrus with a touch of honey. In the mouth it is soft and zingy with light malt and citrus fruit and a dry grassy bitterness that leads to a softer fruity caramel finish"
Game: Today we're reviewing the NECA Predator 2 – 1/4 Scale Action Figure – City Hunter Predator with LED Lights. What an absolute beast it is! The figure includes LED lights in the mask’s targeting system and the left forearm gauntlet that flips open. The figure stands an impressive 20″ tall and is entirely accurate to the movie design, with over 25 points of articulation and mesh body suit netting. My only complaint is the netting over the legs is a bit stretched and looks quite delicate. Overall though this is one exceptional collectors item!

The Winter Warmer (Hogs Back Brewery)
Name: The Winter Warmer
Label: "Spiced Dark Beer - Brewed with strong notes of mulled winter spices"
Brewery: Hogs Back Brewery
ABV: 5.5%
Tasting notes: "The Winter Warmer is a spicy and dark number made from four extra special malts, each of which impart a unique flavour on this complex, well-rounded and full bodied dark ale. A very special mulling syrup is added to this rich initial flavour leaving the tastes of the season dancing merrily on your tongue!" It's nearly May but the weather is like winter!
Game: Available now via EA Access, FIFA 16! Having read none of the marketing or promotional stuff, I can't yet tell what's different between 16 and 15, other than the number has gone up by... hang on... *counts fingers*... one. The graphics do look slightly better actually. It's about football. It's great. It's still better than PES. Rating: 8/10

T.E.A (Hogs Back Brewery)
Name: T.E.A - Traditional English Ale
Label: "Surrey's famous brew - Brewed on the Hogs Back - Malt and hops in perfect balance"
Brewery: Hogs Back
ABV: 4.2%
Rating: "T.E.A was the first brew at Hogs Back in August 1992 and was an immediate hit. It has subsequently won many awards, possibly because, as the name says, it really is a classic Traditional English Ale. We use the finest English malt carefully balanced with local Fuggles hops from the other side of the Hogs Back and gently ferment to leave some of the natural malt sugars, giving a full and satisfying flavour. And whilst we enjoy the beer, local hogs enjoy the spent grain from our mash tun... Perfect harmony in Tongham."
Pigs eat people. People eat pigs AND drink their beer. That's why we're top of the food chain.
Game: Whilst every other sane person is playing GTAV, I seem to have become hopelessly addicted to Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes! It's an XBLA game which was free for Xbox Live Gold subscribers this month. FREE. So rather than playing forty quids worth of GTA V, I'm sat playing a free XBLA download. An HD remake of an old Nintendo DS game I think, it's a puzzley, action-ey, turn-based role playing game that I can't seem to get enough of. I'm just waiting for the inevitable massive difficulty spike which leads to the usual level-up grind that seems quite common with these types of games.

Hop Garden Gold (Hogs Back Brewery)
Name: Hop Garden Gold
Label: "Tongham Surrey - Premium Golden Ale - ...the Golden Ale - Brewery conditioned: for all the taste without the sediment"
Brewery: Hogs Back Brewery
ABV: 4.6%
Rating: "Enjoy HOP, a refreshing hoppy pale golden ale with a good balance of aroma and bitterness from the finest English Malted Barley and 'Choicest' fresh whole English Hops..."
Game: Wasn't going to get Far Cry 3 because I was a little put off by Far Cry 2. Bit silly because I quite enjoyed Far Cry 2. I say 'quite enjoyed' as some bits of it were major suck and the thought of playing it all again (albeit re-skinned as a tropical island rather than Africa) left me a little cold. So as is normally the case recently, I got it anyway. So far, there's still a faint whiff of Far Cry 2 but it's obvious this third installment is a different beast entirely.
