Game: Blimey it's Eaglemoss's MEGA Predator Statue!  He's an impressive 34cm tall, amazing paintwork and detail. Only 500 worldwide, the one below being number 244 according to the certificate of authenticity. Here he's pictured next to the Eaglemoss 1/16 sized Predator just for comparison. After the photo was taken he ate the other predator so he could have the shelf to himself. That's how badass he is.

Game: The big fella has arrived at GamingAle Towers. All 32cm (12.5 inches) of Eaglemoss's MEGA Alien Xenomorph.  Amazingly detailed and stunningly painted, this is a quality slavering slice of badassery.  The base includes Brett's cap and shedded Alien skin.

Game: Part two of yet another Eaglemoss Alien and Predator collection delivery! Issue 15: Red Xenomorph Figurine. We haven't read the comics so we'll hang our heads in shame whilst looking at this fabulously rendered nasty. And then go buy the comics!

Game: Yet another Eaglemoss Alien and Predator collection delivery! Issue 14: Prometheus Engineer Figurine. Great figure, been looking forward to this one for a while because Prometheus is GREAT and this bad boy looks spot on!

Game: Special edition figurine time - this is the Alien Xenomorph Queen. Part of the Alien and Predator Figurine Collection but numbered as Special Edition 1. One of the best figurines so far, amazing paint work and a great size considering the prize. The pose is from the bit at the end of Aliens and get away from me you bitch!

Game: Eaglemoss Alien and Predator Figurine Collection delivery 3 part 2! See here! Issue 6: Captain Arthur Dallas Figurine.  Now the figurines have been great so far and this one is ok but the facial likeness isn't all that great. Plus I don't remember Dallas's spacesuit being pink in Alien...

Game: Eaglemoss Alien and Predator Figurine Collection delivery 3 part 1! This is Issue 4 - the Alien 3 Xenomorph Figurine.  Again, as with the other figurines so far, the quality and level of detail is well tasty!  This is the dog alien or the cow alien depending on which version of Alien 3 you watched. Great film by the way, ignore the haters!

Robert Burns Brown Ale (Belhaven)

Name: Robert Burns Brown Ale

Tasting notes: "Brewed in honour of the Scottish Bard, this is a chestnut brown ale with rich sweet tones of Scottish toffee and subtly malty aftertaste. Great to savour on its own or with stews, steak pie or - of course - haggis!"

Game: The final figurine in the first delivery from Eaglemoss Alien and Predator collection is Issue 3: Corporal Dwayne Hicks. Although the facial likeness isn't great, again it's a well painted, well detailed figurine. Here the pose is Hicks inspecting the dead facehuggers from Aliens, when he picks one up with his gun and there's some dead ones on the floor. It's at this point they should have got back on their spaceship and nuked the planet from orbit. Lots of pain avoided. No need to thank me.
