Game: The game of the week has obviously been Assassin's Creed Origins, but we have also had time to wrap up The Evil Within 2 just in time for Halloween. And what a game it is too, complete with one of the grossest horrible looking end of game bosses ever [you big chicken - Ed]!  The game is so great we went straight into New Game+ so we can play through again with all of our unlocked weapons and abilities.

Game: Being a massive Assassin's Creed fan and a fool I was easily parted with a further £23.99 to purchase the AC: Unity season pass. Then Ubisoft's Yannis Mallat (brother of Timmy) said that because Assassin's Creed was so glitchy, all season pass owners would be eligible for a free game from the following: The Crew, Far Cry 4, Watch Dogs, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, Rayman Legends, Just Dance 2015!  Is this Ubisoft attempting to salvage what's left of it's tattered brand? Or are they just genuinely a great company wanting to give us fans free stuff?  I think the latter because Ubisoft are ace and they make ace games. Everything is awesome :)

Red (Lancaster)

Rating: "A premium strength, Ruby ale. Robust and malt-dominated, fired by a spicy but sweet fragrance. Red is an impact beer designed to leave lasting impressions both visually and on the taste buds." The last beer in the Lancaster collection judging by the shop shelves, Red, Blonde, Amber and Black. A veritable beer flavoured rainbow. Not a very colourful rainbow granted, but a tasty rainbow nonetheless.

Game: I wasn't going to get Max Payne 3, but then I remembered that it's a Rockstar game. And Rockstar games rock. So cutting to the chase, the bullet-time effect is copiously bloody, brutal and brilliant. I can't remember a game where you can shoot someone in slo-mo and then continue to empty a clip into their body and/or face before they hit the floor. Maybe Max Payne 2? I don't know, like I say, I can't remember. So far it's guns, blood and action with a healthy dose of alcoholism. This game is definitely not for the faint of heart, or Daily Mail readers.

Rating: A deep gold session bitter, punching above its weight in flavour. Abundantly hoppy with subtle floral and citrus aromas.

Game: The mulitplayer of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is pretty darn addictive.  I seem to range from being really rubbish to suddenly really pwning the other players. And they ain't no n00bs either because its ranked matches where levelled up players are matched pretty evenly.  Do people still say "pwn" and "n00b" by the way?
