Wold Gold (Wold Top)

Name: Wold Gold
Label: "Wold Famous Blonde Beer - Brewed on our Yorkshire Farm"
Brewery: Wold Top Brewery
ABV: 4.8%

Tasting notes: "Wold Gold a blonde continental style beer, a heady mix of predominantly Wold grown Barley, Wheat and Cara malt hopped with Goldings and Styrian Goldings hops give the beer its soft, fruity flavour with a hint of spice. Year on year our best selling bottled beer."

Game: Another quick one, Issue 17 of the Alien and Predator Figurine Collection, Ronald Noland Figurine from Predators.  Sadly on one side of the box it refers to him as "Roland Noland" as opposed to Ronald Noland. But other than that, this figurine is excellent quality complete with salvaged Predator gear.

Rating: 7.5/10

Scarborough Fair IPA (Wold Top)

Name: Scarborough Fair IPA
Label: "An India Pale Ale Full of Coastal Harmony"
Brewery: Wold Top Yorkshire Brewery
ABV: 6.0%

Tasting notes: "Strong and well hopped for the voyage, sending IPA from the Wolds to the World. Interestingly brewed with a pale predominately Wold grown malt base, a triple hop blend and Maize for the head retention."

Game: Continuing with the gaming themed figurine reviews, this figurine review is only indirectly associated with gaming but shush up. We're reviewing the Eaglemoss Alien and Predator figurine collection. First up is Issue 1: Alien Xenomorph figurine. These figurines are 1:16 scale which I think means that if they were 16 times as big they would be an actual alien.  This figurine is decent quality, amazingly detailed and really well painted. FYI it's the Alien from the film Alien which is a film about an alien. Even the stand is detailed with the cap of the unfortunate Samuel Brett and the alien's shedded skin. Is shedded a word? Or should it just be shed? Or is that a place to keep a lawnmower?

Anyway, rating: 9/10

Headland Red (Wold Top)

Name: Headland Red
Label: "Wold famous - A beacon of taste in an ocean of choices"
Brewery: Wold Top
ABV: 4.3%

Tasting notes: "A red beer to halt you in your tracks, giving you a warm red glow! A mellow malty flavour, from predominately Wold grown barley, dark Crystal malt and roasted barley, hopped with Progress hops. This is the beer to use for the best 'beef in beer!'"

Game: Here's a quick flyby birds eye view of a parked Millennium Falcon in Star Wars Battlefront. It's a very similar video to the eagle flying over London that Ubisoft did to promote Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
